Hannah had a wonderful first day of school! She loves her teacher and has made several new friends. She told me that she wished I had to work longer so that she could stay at school longer. At the end of the first week, she was a bit disappointed about the weekend. She wanted to go to school everyday without a break. The only tears she had during the week were because she wanted to be a bus rider!!! Too funny! On Friday of the first week of school was her first Girl Scout meeting. She was so proud to finally be a REAL Girl Scout. After the meeting, we made our first trip of the school year to the doctor. She was getting stuffy, had a cough, and felt like she had a temperature. Good thing we went, she had an ear infection and a sinus infection. We ended up staying home all weekend in hopes that she'd be well enough to go to school on Monday. She was able to go to school, but I had to give her medicine at lunch every day. I love having her at school with me because I get to see her more often than when she was at Mamow's or Nana's. There were no tears for me on the first day of school either! Jeremy Vincent wasn't too keen on leaving his baby girl at school and was a bit sad that first day. How funny for us to have such different feelings about her first day of school!
